Steph Courtney, M.S.
Doctoral Candidate
Steph is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow interested in informal education and communications strategies for activating new audiences around climate change. So far, this work has centered around using graphs to communicate with non-scientists about climate change, including how they may affect perceptions of credibility. The methodological highlight of this work is eye-tracking, which she employs in both lab and museum settings. She also researches how climate science influences decision-making for the conservation and management of natural and cultural resources.
