Haylie Milulak

Graduate Student

Haylie is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Earth System Science as a part of the NRT Climate Resilience project. Haylie has worked in the private sector as an Environmental Intelligence Analyst, where she served as a subject matter expert for environment-related events for business clients. She monitored and forecasted a variety of natural disasters in real time across the globe to effectively communicate with clients about travel plans or possible impacts to assets. Haylie completed her MS in Geography at the University of Georgia, where she studied the impacts of atmospheric teleconnections on Arctic blocking patterns. During her time there, she developed a love for teaching and geoscience education research after serving as a teaching assistant. She obtained her BS in Meteorology/Climatology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she also completed minors in Mathematics and Physics. She is originally from East Brunswick, NJ and is excited to be continue her academic career at Auburn University.
