Akilah Alwan was awarded the prestigious NSF GRFP while in the McNeal Geocognition Research Lab under Dr. McNeal's mentorship. Akilah was assigned to a new graduate advisor, Dr. Lorraine Wolf, in the Department of Geosciences in 2020. Best of luck to Akilah in her future endeavors!
